We provide dog and cat lodging with spacious accommodations as well as additional services like grooming, nail trims, and medication.

Dog Lodging

Our K9-friendly lodging accommodations are great for all breeds and sizes, and we can accommodate multiple dogs from the same family. To make your dog feel more at home, we encourage you to bring your dog’s favorite bedding and toys. Bring your dog’s special food they love and feel free to drop off treats with your dog. If you’d like your dog to get additional services, please notify us when making an appointment.

If you require any vet services to be done prior to boarding, please schedule them through the main lobby at our Pet Wellness and Urgent Care Center or either of our two sister clinics, Marion Veterinary Clinic and Thompsonville Veterinary Clinic.

What We Offer

We will be offering a point reward system per dollar spent at GPLDC. Upon request, we can schedule bathing, grooming, nail trims, and day camp (if schedule permits).

For the safety of both your pet and the other lodgers, animals that lodge or are in day camp must be updated on necessary vaccinations and annual fecal. Those pets that are not updated prior to lodging must stay in our hospital to prevent potentially contracting or spreading disease to/from other lodgers. For those staying in the hospital, they will still need to receive the appropriate vaccines during their stay.

If your pets need injectable medication or are diabetic/have serious medical conditions, it is required that they be lodged in the hospital.

Cat Lodging

Cats receive spacious accommodations that are separate from our dog lodging areas. To make your cat more comfortable, we recommend bringing bedding from home, your cat’s favorite treats/toys, and a supply of your pet’s favorite food.

If you have more than one cat to board, we can lodge them in our extra-large accommodations or separately. If you’d like your pet to receive additional services while staying with us, please notify us when making the original appt. If your cat needs daily medication, just let us know. We’d be happy to administer your pet’s daily medication.
